The short version: Keepsake works entirely on your device. Your photos never leave your phone, we have no account system, and we do not collect, upload, sell, or share your personal data or images.
Keepsake ("the app", "we", "us") is an iOS application that helps you review and clean up the photos on your device. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Keepsake is designed to be private by default. We do not collect, store on our servers, transmit, upload, or sell:
All photo scanning, grouping, and analysis happen locally on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. Your photo library is never sent to us or to any third party. The app can function without an internet connection.
When you choose to delete photos, the deletion is performed through Apple's standard system, which always asks you to confirm. Deleted photos are moved to your device's "Recently Deleted" album and can be recovered there for 30 days, in line with iOS behaviour.
Keepsake requests access to your photo library solely so it can show you your photos for review and, with your confirmation, delete the ones you choose. You may grant full or limited access, and you can change this at any time in your device Settings. The app requests permission to send you one optional daily reminder notification, which you can turn off.
Keepsake offers an optional paid subscription ("Keepsake Plus") and other in-app purchases. These are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Keepsake does not include third-party advertising, and does not sell your data to anyone. If the app uses any privacy-preserving, aggregate analytics in the future (for example, to understand crash rates), this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected, and it will never include your photos or personal content.
